Claude Apps: Advanced Features

claude.ai is not just chat. Artifacts, Projects, browser and Office integrations, and Team/Enterprise controls turn it into a complete workspace.

21.1 Artifacts deep dive

  • What can be built: HTML pages, React apps, SVG/Mermaid diagrams, documents, code files, games, dashboards.
  • Publish and share: an artifact is private; you can share it by link and others can remix it.
  • AI-powered artifacts: calling Claude from inside an artifact, like a mini app that gets an answer from Claude for the user's input; usage is counted on the viewer's account.
  • Storage / runtime capabilities: an artifact can save data (shared or per-user), accept files and read connected data.
  • Artifact types: ready-made types such as Docs (editable document), Slides (deck, PPTX/PDF export) and Dashboard; Claude fills in the content and the type supplies the design.

21.2 Projects
